12:00 p.m. Na’amat Luncheon in Honor of Israel’s 60th Anniversary Boca Raton Marriot 5150 Town Center Circle, Boca Raton, FL
Congressman Wexler will serve as the keynote speaker at this celebration of the State of Israel’s 60th anniversary. Wexler will speak about the importance of the unbreakable bond between Israel and the United States and the importance of Israel’s right to self-defense.
2:30 p.m. Broward Town Hall Community Town Hall 800 Southwest 36th Ave, Pompano Beach, FL Herb Skolnick Civic Center Congressman Wexler will speak on his efforts in Washington to end the war in Iraq, boost the nation’s struggling economy, and strengthen America’s relationship with Israel. He will also take questions from members of the South Florida community.
4:00 p.m. Congressional Arts Competition Reception Gallery Center 608 Banyan Trail, Boca Raton, FL
Congressman Wexler will announce the winner of the 2008 Congressional Arts Competition in Florida’s 19th District. The local high school student will be presented with tickets to Washington, DC for events honoring the nation’s most artistically talented youths. All submitted works of art will be on display at the event.
