Wexler Expresses Support for FAU Community Following Shooting

Today Congressman Robert Wexler (D-FL) released the following statement in reaction to reports that shooting occurred in a Florida Atlantic University residence hall last night:

“I am deeply concerned by the shooting that occurred on the FAU campus, but extremely thankful that no serious injuries resulted. The students, faculty, and staff of FAU deserve the opportunity to study and thrive in a safe and welcoming environment.  I want to offer my support to the entire university community and pledge to assist administrators in any way necessary as the situation is evaluated and appropriate actions are taken.”
