Wexler Condemns Anti-Semitic Shooting at US Holocaust Museum

(Washington, DC) Today, Congressman Wexler released the following statement in reaction to the shooting of a security guard and two individuals at the United States Holocaust Museum:

"I condemn in the strongest possible terms the heinous shooting that occurred today at the US Holocaust Museum, and my thoughts and prayers go out to the three victims and their families. Unfortunately, it appears that this despicable act of violence was committed by a staunch anti-Semite. It is shocking and saddening that a horrific act could occur inside a museum dedicated to promoting tolerance, peace, and remembrance in the wake of the Holocaust. We must stand together as a nation in rejecting all crimes motivated by one’s hatred towards a racial, ethnic, or religious group."
