• Economic Prosperity Congressman Wexler supports policies that will put America back to work. In the 111th Congress, he has voted for legislation that reflects his commitment to growing a health and productive middle class. 
• Homeownership and the Foreclosure Crisis Florida has one of the highest foreclosure rates in the nation. Congressman Wexler believes that stabilizing the housing market is key to the nation's overall economic recovery and supports legislation that would help families stay in their homes. 
• Homeowners' Insurance South Florida families are under enormous financial strain from the high cost of homeowners insurance. Congressman Wexler believes that the federal government must take action to assist homeowners faced with these rising insurance costs.
• The Federal Budget and Fiscal Responsibility The 111th Congress has passed a new federal budget that puts an emphasis on eliminating government waste and investing in several sectors of America's economy, including health care, energy, education, and more.

• Darfur Congressman Wexler is deeply concerned about the mass killings, rape, displacement and starvation of the people in Darfur, which represents one of the most pressing humanitarian crises in the world today.
